Gaze

It started with the curious gaze towards me by the big eyes of the people in India that I met while studying there. My human portraits start with the gaze.

Life

Sometimes living creatures show the brilliance of life without a word. I draw hoping to capture this loving powerful sense of existence in a picture forever.

Flow

When I was small, the river in my hometown was my playground. I swam, of course, but I never got bored just watching the flow of the water and the sky.
Light reflecting off the water, clouds moving, wind blowing, etc. I hope to portray such flows in my work.

Traveler

Life itself is a journey. At the same time, the purpose of traveling is to encounter something never seen before. I travel because something is waiting.

Earth

When I climb a mountain, I feel the earth. Respect and awe for the earth, which has been here counting endless time. That might be a formidable theme for somebody as powerless as me, but it is a theme worth its challenge.
